Dovetail Partners is a holding company that overseas the two restaurant brands; Hat Creek Burger Company (a fast-casual, family friendly burger restaurant) and Zaxby’s (a quick-serve chicken restaurant). The name Dovetail was created because the two brands were “dovetailing” into one cohesive group. The client wanted a retro and western inspired logo with the same goals and mindset of the two restaurants, but maintaining their own style. I have taken elements from the two restaurants brands and combined with the elements from the brief, such as retro-styled logo with a friendly and western inspired color palette.
